Their Why
A global cryptocurrency exchange had grown fast and grown remote, with a team spread across more than 25 countries. They wanted to break down the walls of remote work, bring people closer as people, and connect everyone to the mission behind the company: crypto as something far bigger than an industry.
Our How
We took the mission off the screen and into the resort. Over three days, every element, from the plenary to the cocktail napkins printed with crypto facts, was designed so that anyone could join in, whatever their language, role, or knowledge of crypto.
Blockchain, Brought to Life
A custom treasure hunt inspired by Bitcoin mining. Teams cracked encrypted challenges across the resort, earning “bitcoin” as they went, until one was crowned Oracle and claimed the Block Reward.
Icebreakers You Could Wear
Custom stickers for home countries, teams, and passions, from coffee to kitesurfing, made common ground easy to find. A short daily stretch gave the whole company a shared ritual.
A View from Orbit
A keynote from the first Black woman to pilot a spacecraft turned the conversation from technology to possibility.
Dancing Under the Stars
A private open-air dinner with a Mayan-inspired DJ and light show, neon face paint, and glow sticks.
The Outcome
The Why was a remote team that felt like one company with one mission. Colleagues who had only met on screens left with shared stories and a clearer sense of what they are building together.
